Perry says Bush never was fiscal conservative Texas governor makes pointed remarks at a party fanning support for Giuliani. Friday, December 14, 2007

From what I can make out, Giuliani did cut spending, taxes, and the debt during his first term, getting NYC out of a serious fiscal crunch. As the city's economy improved and taxes came in, spending also increased. With the dot.com slump at the end of his term, the city's finances were back in trouble. Still, Giuliani did what needed to be done when it needed to be done.

You brought it up so stand behind your words. It is not our business to be checking up on you.

Well, I ‘preciate that Outlaw.

I have to toss out another apology. I am publicly apologizing to BereanBrain for telling him to KMA last night. I get a little touchy sometimes, especially if I have been enjoying the fruit of the hops.

I should not have snapped at him like I did, but I’m a guy, we get our chests puffed up sometimes and don’t always think about what we say. He is a Texan like me, and I need more civility around here sometimes.

It’s all good. I’ll vote for Perry if he punches his ticket, and I’ll vote for another Conservative if he don’t.

Peace out.

Oh please don’t be apologizing for a classic comeback. Some people need to hear KMA!

Sheesh...

Yeah, and I don’t look like Les Nessman. I am more of a Lance Armstrong look-alike ;)

When I am wrong, I’ll take the hit. My old mother (God Bless her and keep her alive until 100) always told me “Son, that mouth will never do nothin’ but get you in trouble” and she ain’t been wrong yet.

It’s a guy thing.

Google up, Mazda. You can do it. I did. Do your own homework when you question mine.

Exactly.

The “before Giuliani” NYC was not a good place.

He told the Sheik with the check to go pound sand too.

If I present an arguement based on something other than my opinion, and even sometimes just that, I make it a point to submit information to support my case while I am at it. Funny little thing I learned while doing term papers called footnotes. Today, they are called links. You created an opinion based on something else and want us to take you word for it? Are you a democrat? Or worse, a RINO?

Just consider for a moment that your entire arguement could have been supported and even swayed those who disagree if you had given us a quick way to acertain your veracity?

Way back when on this site that was SOP. Funny how those who think the know it all are the ones least likely to follow up on the provided links are also the ones to make demands on others. They’re also the first to resort to ad hominem attacks as well.

The mods would do well to issue some warnings about inane and sometimes insane word salads being posted.

I like Perry, and for information and clarification I simply posted the subject of his speech given at the build-a-burger gathering he is said to have attended. The source for naming the subject of his speech was found from a likewise simple Rick-Perry-buildaburger google search. Google led to the Austin TV station who had/has it up as a brief story where the subject was named.

” WAAAAAAH,WAAAAHHHHH “, is all we have heard from you since. Now buzz away and go nag your mother. I’m not her.
