As I understand it, his proposal is to stretch out the depreciation schedule from 5 to 7 years. I wonder if someone explained to the moron the amount deducted is the same, just less per year over the new 7 year term. So, the net total affect on revenues over those years is NADA.

I work around (will not say “with”) an electrical engineer who is a major Kool-Aid drinker. Spouts stuff like no one should be allowed to own a car costing over 25K, or live in a house over 2000 square feet. Jumped for joy when Obama got elected, did the same when the economy tanked, and cursed anyone who he considered rich. Called anyone from Texas a retard. This dude is a white Minnestoopidan Norwegian/Swede in his sixties, and wants Barry Dunham/Wesley Mouch to do even more to wreck the economy to get back at the “evil rich people” (anyone who does better than him).

Jimmy Carter single-handedly killed off the boatbuilding industry in this country when he started badmouthing those “rich” people and their “yachts”, and added a special “luxury tax” on the price of a boat. Many makers of good boats were driven out of business.
Barry seems to be just one “malaise speech” away from becoming Carter II.

He thinks in terms of full-blown communism where all businesses are state-owned and there is only one union - the communist party. Cuz if he was in the real world he would realize that every time he bashes any industry he’s also hurting American jobs. And here and there some of those jobs are union. Think about it, anything economically bad hurts the union employee, the non-union employee, the business owner - everyone. Normal people understand this, but a full-blow communist dreamer does not.
