I’ve heard that one single volcanic eruption will do more harm to this planet than we could possibly do in centuries.
Not just any volcanic eruption, but a really powerful pyroclastic eruption (mainly ash and pumice). Krakatoa and more recently Pinatubo, were good examples. But then again, the eruption in and of itself would be problematic for all the people it could kill.
