I supported the Patriot Act when it was passed and many Libertarians warned that this could happen. It looks like they were right. I wish that I and others had listened to them at the time.

Reminds me of Russ Feingold riding Bush’s behind, but absolutely silent during his final two years along with the Obama administration.
The problem is the opportunism seized by the schmucks in DC.
Sunset laws and similar conceptions should be enforceable by the strongest Constitutional measures possible.
