Rogue 4 July tweets on TV news channel's politics service go viral but Fox News is apparently back in control
Fox News has apparently fallen victim to hacking, with its politics Twitter feed repeatedly announcing President Barack Obama had been shot dead.
@foxnewspolitics began tweeting the information to its 33,000 followers at about 2am local time, with the posts rapidly being shared around the internet.
The rogue tweets appeared to begin after the account sent a message saying Fox had just "regained full access to our Twitter account".
The following tweets all related to the supposed death of Obama, with some posts being very specific about the president's injuries.
"@BarackObama has just passed. The President is dead. A sad 4th of July, indeed. President Barack Obama is dead," came the first tweet. The string of messages continued:
"@BarackObama has just passed. Nearly 45 minutes ago, he was shot twice in the lower pelvic area and in the neck; shooter unknown. Bled out", and then: "@BarackObama shot twice at a Ross' restaurant in Iowa while campaigning. RIP Obama, best regards to the Obama family."
Whatever the hoaxer's identity, they do not appear to have been entirely web-savvy. The first three posts revealing the president's death were directed to the @BarackObama Twitter feed, meaning only those following both accounts would have seen the messages.

Amen to that. Maybe this wasn’t a hacker but some disgrunted liberal employee? Liberalism is a mental illness, after all.
No conservative would support something like this, because we believe in the rule of law and respect for the office of the presidency, even in someone who wants to weaken American occupies the office.
This is unlike the rabid Left calling for Seal Team Six to attack certain ex-Presidents, and the classless media in their comments about Rush Limbaugh.

They weren’t web savvy but they are capable of hacking web accounts...
Well, when you’re on Twitter, you’re at risk of being hacked. Indeed, 0bama’s Twitter account was hacked by a young Frenchman who got arrested for it.
So, Shiloh didn’t happen? Gettysburg didn’t happen? There was no Battle of the Ironclads? The South didn’t secede over States Rights? Lincoln didn’t suspend habeus corpus? Slaves in rebellious states weren’t declared free by the emancipation?

June23.org followers had hacked the Fox News Ticker on 6th avenue in NYC and posts on YouTube---"and Fox is letting it happen" says the female participant.
Back in 05/25/11 Fox.com Hacked By Group Lulz Security the group took over the Twitter account of Fox affiliate Fox15 posting Tweets like:
ICE has also been targeting Brit TV and News casts in the UK on piracy issues..which is not making alot of Brits very happy with the US they claim : "the Yanks think they own the Internet".

Barack Obama is undoubtedly the worst president this nation has had. (Yep Jimma, you’re off the hook...)
It’s not just his ineptitude, it’s his willingness to trash our allies and kiss the ass of our long term enemies.
He has also done things to seriously damage this nation, and seeing it unsuccessful to turn things around, wants to do more of it.
I detest this sick bastard.
That being said, the person who hacked the FoxNews Twitter account should spend some serious time behind bars for having done this.
You don’t mess around with certain subject matter in conjunction with a president. The very last thing we need right now is to have Obama turned into some sort of god like Kennedy was. And doing something like this, which may be attributed to a group like the Tea Party or Conservatives out of the box, is character assassination by design.
Catch this guy and put him out of our misery.
Could the hacker be a left wing thug perhaps attempting to start trouble? Hitler used the same propaganda tactics against his opposition.
Here was the plan:
1) Announce the death of Obama by Twitter.
2) Watch 4th of July patriotic folks and try to videotape or camera phone conservatives cheering the death of Obama.
3) Use the images to harm the Tea Party and support Obama’s reelection.
It wouldn’t work because Tea Party types don’t behave like that. However, the Liberals don’t know that. They try to catch us in a bad light and this was their ticket. I wouldn’t be surprised if some Obama supporter inside Fox did the twitter.
Never mind. I’m a but short-tempered today for other reasons.
