pointing to Michael Dukakis in 1988, noted there’s a precedent for an ethnic Northeast governor appealing to Democrats far away from home.

That one turned out so well, I hope they repeat it.

Cuomo brings zilch to the Obama ticket. New York is already in the bag for the America hater POTUS Obama!!! Obama has NY, CA & DC, the rest is up for grabs. Cuomo is a zero asset for Obama, period. Biden is a moron, incompetent buffoon!!! He will be flushed down the toilet to forever obscurity and neglect!!! A totally useless human being!!!

I was never gonna vote for Obama, but I sure as hell voted for Palin. Had McCain gone with his original choice, Lieberman, staying home would have been a possibility.

I don't believe so either, but several claimed they would have if not for Palin. Remember, FR is just an Internet site. People embellish.

Supposedly Hillary wants to leave her position and Biden would be scooted over to Sec. of State.

My favorite bumper sticker of 2008 reflects that sentiment:

Palin - McWhat'sHisName

I know at least two people who had abandoned McCain only to come back and vote for him because they like Sarah Palin so much. I voted for the McCain ticket with much more enthusiasm than I would have had Sarah not been on it.

“Cuomo brings zilch to the Obama ticket. “

BO’s handlers are thinking, “four more years of Obama, then 8 years of Cuomo — the only guy in the country that’s to the politically to the left of Obama.”

Ah, the dreams of Soros and his minions.

NY GOP boss Williams Powers: not heard of him. Tom Dewey was also referred to as “NY GOP boss” in the 1940s and 1950s. Dewey, we later learned, was friendly with HHH but nominally committed to Nixon in 1968. John Connally was nonminally committed to HHH but apparently privately preferred Nixon as early as 1968. These old bosses are always full of surprises. None of which help the hapless American public see the light
