Bachmann may go along with this but to her peril. If she does, the Tea Party Caucus should demand her resignation and her backers should tell her in no uncertain terms they will be withholding financial support until she votes on all matters concerning the debt. The other Republican candidates should be told the same. Those not in Congress or office holders need a full page NYT/WSJ explanation of their position.

Gee, that’s weird- she was one of the Conservatives who voted against the 2011 FY budget deal. Apparently voting the right way is “caving in” now...

her credibility is on the line,and awaits a real test like this one. My view is that she WON’T go along with it.
