Earlier on this thread, someone mentioned the “CSI effect”..people today expect to see hard, visual evidence..absent it, they won’t convict..
And you see this as a bad thing?
There’s no smoking gun “direct evidence” that Hitler ordered the Final Solution, either. Circumstantial evidence is enough.
Far better the “CSI effect” than the old predominance of “The Convicted Ham Sandwich” effect.
