So what does New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D) really think of Republican Gov. Chris Christie?

"He’s a rotten prick," Sen. Sweeney said in a shocking, unfiltered interview with The Newark Star Ledger.

The top Senate Democrat accused the governor of using his line-item veto powers to punish Democratic lawmakers.

"Last night I couldn’t calm down," Sweeney said. "To prove a point to me — a guy who has stood side by side with him, and made tough decisions — for him to punish people to prove his political point? He’s just a rotten bastard to do what he did."

Sweeney said Christie promised to consult with him before making cuts, but never did, adding insult to injury.

"I wanted to punch him in his head," Sweeney added.

The intensely personal — and public — spat will undoubtedly harm Christie's ability to marshal the Democrat-controlled legislature to support his legislative agenda, most notably education reform, which will be taken up in the fall.

Christe is doing an okay job. I’d think more of him if the moochers were rioting in the streets. I’d really like him if some “lone nut” took a shot at him because that is proof positive that he’d done something that upset the PTB. JFK promised to breakup the CIA and the Federal Reserve and look what happened to him!

I wouldn’t live in NJ for love or money, but, darn - that governor is doing a helluva a job there. Kudos to Christie for ticking off the Demon RATS. He has gained a few points in my book too. Way to go governor! Way to go!

Now all Stephen Sweeney needs to do is start parroting their lies claiming Christie is "a pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, Muslim loving social liberal" and he might get some support from "true conservatives"

Sweeney looks crooked, doesn’t he ?

Sweeney has a gem of a demeanor. /sarc He’s fine as long as you yes everything he wants for the union cabal.

The NJ Legislature coverage on WNJN displays a crude circus of corrupt union bosses punctuated occassionally by the snivelings of RINOs trying to curry favor with suburbanites. And then there are a few conservatives sprinkled in who seem entirely out of place.
