I believe this was a sympathy verdict and it had nothing to do w/ Caylee or Casey and everything to do w/ the grand-parents. Caylee, their little grand-daughter is dead and gone and the jury empathized w/ the grand-parents and didn’t want to take the daughter away from them as well. Just my thoughts.
It had to do with...”I want to go home” and nothing else. I wonder what the first vote was....
If she’s capable of killing her own child, her parents might want to think twice before letting her back into their home. How do they know she wouldn’t slash them while they sleep.
When the not guilty verdicts were read the parents walked out of the courtroom without speaking to their daughter.
I believe the jury was punishing the State for their long sequestration.
