The two of them are talking and coordinating. Perry won’t run if Palin is going to. Palin won’t be running if Perry announces.

This has been my sense too. Who knows? Maybe they'll even announce as a POTUS/VP team. That would take the air out of all of the rest of the GOP candidates.

Rather than have Palin as VP, I would prefer her to be Perry's chief of staff. I think that she would have more influence there than as VP. But I would prefer to have her at the top of the ticket, however.
