Hope the Army did better than the Orange County FL prosecutors.

(Of course, Hasan will instantly be pardoned by the caliph of Americastan, if the jury of kafir dare to convict him)

"The Army psychiatrist charged in the deadly Fort Hood rampage in Texas will be court-martialed and face the death penalty."

Why the rush?

In the old days, he would have been executed within five days - max! That’s when we had justice.

Just putting that all into verbage that we understand, and could even accept as a possability .... scares me to death.

Scares, because war is no longer familiar to me ..

To death, because I hope I can at least take one out before I (will most likely) die.

Dang - was going to post the same thing!
As in, I hope the prosecuters don’t “over charge” this guy because:
1) Do we know if the gun was his? (Premeditation)
2) Can you really link him to the shooting? (Just ‘cause he’s a Moooslim, doesn’t mean he wanted to harm anyone...)

Hope they have LOTS of evidence, not circumstantial, that will help the bloody jury convict him...
seems like that’s what you need these days...
Right, Scott Peterson?

Too bad the US Military does not still use hanging or firing squad. I’m sure there would be many volunteers to do the job.

The real obscenity is that over a year and a half later, Hasan has not yet faced the death penalty.

I hope the executioner asks him truthfully, right before pulling the switch, “Could you taste the pig lard we put in your last ‘halal’ meal here on Earth?”

Don’t think he gets a jury. I think he gets a court martial by three senior officers.
Unfortunately, that can go either way just like a jury.

>> “ Hope the Army did better than the Orange County FL prosecutors. “ <<

Not fair. You took the words right out of my mouth here.
I can’t do the death penalty but in rare cases. This is that rare case. This is where the perpetrator is so evil that he would like to repeat the slaughter, would do it again, even lives to do more of it again. And again.

Except on the Anthony case, I thought the prosecutors were excellent. The jury simply went for the popcorn soap opera and the salaciousness, because it was easier, over the circumstantial evidence before them. The prosecution never had a chance. The jury IQ predisposed them to fall in from the beginning with Casey, where it’ everyone’s fault but hers. Casey got even with George who had her number all along. She threw fruit salad on the wall and it stuck. He is destroyed.

Didn’t mean to turn your post around. So to your point, there will be no more Ali Akbar from him!

If the “caliph” should have the unmitigated gall to do something so monumentally traitorous, I daresay that there might be more than a few re-blooded American patriots who might be motivated to do something massively unwise...and damn the consequences.

I believe that Hasan should be released on Bail until the trial is set.

He must wear this ankle bracel

and the Navy will send him to bin Laden's quarters!

Yeah, I know...
I’ve been a member of a military jury, in my day as a naval officer...
I was being sarcastic, though it wasn’t very good...sorry

If I had been one of the cops at the scene, he would have been dead that day.
