A Publix employee was attacked after complimenting a man with a Georgia Bulldogs T-shirt.
26-year-old James Wall said, “Hey, I like your shirt,” and that’s all it took for Ryan Keys to beat Wall outside of a Northside Publix.
The attack happened Friday at the Publix on Duval Station Road, but the details were not made public until recently.
Our news partner Channel 4 says Wall, the mentally disabled man was punched in the face so hard it knocked his two front teeth out; the teeth were found 10-12 feet from where he was laying.
Police described Keys as 6’4, 275 lbs.
Keys fled the scene in his brother’s car. Police later arrested the attacked at their home and was charged with aggravated battery and resisting arrest.
I hope they throw the book at him.

Assuming the story is correct, they should lynch the scumbag who did this. No society needs such vermin in their midst.
Been seeing a lot of stories of violence on drudge and freerepublic...if you take God out of our institutions, glorify violence and sex, promote and reward bad behavior, allow criminals from other countries in to our homeland....this is the net result.

With the injury it should rise to a felony level. It will all depend on the local jurisdiction as to whether it puts the offender in jail for some years or is a mere ritual “naughty-naughty, now apologize” court proceeding.
If the place is guided by what Colin Powell lauded as “urban values”, this won’t amount to anything.

If the attacker said anything about the victim being mentally disabled ( the unpleasant “R” word among others), it’s a Federal Hate Crime.

A pair of real winners! We have to bring back whipping, the pillory and stocks to punish this type of crime. Twenty Five to fifty lashes with a cat-o-nine tails would help the fat boy.
Publix and Winn-Dixie both do a wonderful thing by employing some mentally slow folks as baggers and stockers. God Bless them for it.

Because if that was my child you hit and knocked teeth out of....punk, the police would be needed to protect you from me. You are a coward. The lowest of the low. You rank down there with child rapists in my book. There is nothing that the victum could have said to provoke such an attack! I hope they keep your punk a$$ locked up for a very long time. K.Silvers
