Maybe they will release her late tonight to avoid a media spectacle.

I have been called to jury duty about 8 times but have never served. I am an electrical engineer and a lawyer told me that is the reason I never get picked.

The alternate juror who spoke up about the Anthoney case is the kind of juror that defense lawyers want on the panel.

There can be little doubt that the family took off early to buy new locks for their doors.

Anybody who befriends Casey are always going to wish they never had. It's well known sociopaths, which IMO Casey is, and she certainly has exhibited the behavior and the stances of that. ( As well her mother said she is a sociopath.) At any rate, many psychologists recommend that people need to run from such people. The y have an innate ability to hone in on a persons weaknesses and milk them for all it's worth. We see Casey did just that with all her family members as well as friends.

So true, we have an ex DIL who could be Casey's twin! She hasn't killed the kids, but (lost custody) for mentally & physically abusing them & would sit there & LAUGH when they cried. She enjoyed thier pain over & over & over.

Many people following the trial could not believe a "woman" could be that cruel, well I'm here to tell you, I know her twin & YES they can be that cruel & can laugh after they inflict the pain or kill someone.

I could easily see the ex DIL sitting there just like Casey!!!

Defense lawyers rarely put the Defendant on the stand, unless they think they are losing badly . . . which obviously this defense did not believe.

That's interesting, but I guess they were right...

She has several convictions for lying to the cops.

Truly amazing that the jury believed the cops and not her. Then they just forgot that she'd killed her kid.

She was declared indigent. She doesn’t have any legal bills to pay. The state picked up the entire tab.

I hear ya, engineers are perceived as logical people, both sides want jurors that can be swayed with emotion rather than logic....it can work on either side.

It's not a perfect system, but it's the best one to ever be devised by man.

Because on case fails us we can't just ditch it.

Karma baby, she will get hers, but she’s so LOW she won’t even realize it, she will end up in the gutter & think she’s queen of the gutter (narcissists adapt to their situations very well)!

Good post..

Baez even said there were ‘no winners” in this while he and his staff ‘partied’ their ‘victory’ at the local bar. Casey will make her money too.

But as you said Caley is with the Lord and safe...IMO a better place for her.

I think George and his wife will split eventually. Unless Casey finds her way back into the family unit. They may just let her back in time. Co-dependant families have great difficulty breaking that attachment...they are accustomed to chaos. But then the Anthonys’ have had these three years on their own...they might have already adjusted to not having Casey there.

I do think Casey will try to get in their good graces again...sociopaths always do as they know all the push buttons that opens those doors with those close to them.

I also wanted to add, if we could capture the attention of the American People the way this case did, the utter destruction of this Country by our current Government, we wouldn't be where we are today.

That may be, but don't think for a moment that Baez is going to let this little Cash Cow go, he wants his share of the Slut Pie too!

The standard is "beyond a reasonable doubt", not just "a doubt".

See the subtle difference? You could be sitting around all day speculating about how the little girl commited suicide, or got run down by a Home Depot truck loaded with duct tape and trash bags, and so on, but such ideas do not create a "reasonable doubt".

I agree but it does show the flaw in the system. And just think these jurors probably vote in elections too.

I no longer have any respect for our court system! How they could exonerate this dreadful woman is beyond belief!
At least we know that little Caylee is in Heaven with Jesus. Who knows what she may have had to endure her short life on earth? We love you, Caylee. Keep smiling, Baby.

Once a person understands what sociopaths are then everything falls into place on Casey’s behavior, repsonses, lifestyle and how she sees herself. She’s a walking example of a sociopath IMO.

I f you noted Casey’s tears at the reading of the virdict would be “normal” for any. And then later you see Casey joking and laughing as she is fingerprinted. Sociopaths take many ques from the people around them on how to look and express emotions in a social setting...when they want to be accepted or approved. Otherwise they simply don’t care one way or another...and they truly don’t and see nothing wrong in being so.
