her defence team had to dissuade her from giving testimony at the trial.That is very telling. A lawyer cannot knowingly put a witness on the stand who will lie.

Defense lawyers rarely put the Defendant on the stand, unless they think they are losing badly . . . which obviously this defense did not believe.
