Russian official claims Qaddafi willing to cede power in Libya

"The colonel [Qaddafi] is sending signals that he is prepared to relinquish power in exchange for security guarantees," Kommersant quoted the official as saying, according to Reuters. (See original report in Russian here.) Other countries have already said they're willing to provide the guarantees.

You can bet he is paying these people off with the money the United States tax payer gave him. We give him about $15 Million a year or something like that.

And he will walk awith with his cash and be able to live in Europe somewhere like a King for the rest of his days......Although if the rebels take over Libya Obama might sympathize with the Muzzies enough to give them the Q man.

Russia's interest in this is to redirect Libyan oil destination away from Europe (the Brits are most active in going for the oil).

Russia's second goal is to keep Quadaffi's gold out of IMF hands, they don't particularly have a goal of saving Mo, but it may be necessary to accomplish what they want to do, and Mo may be useful in the future, alive.

The ragtags are now grasping at straws, yesterday it was a power sharing deal, the ragtags time is running out except for the spin, daffy has billions, and controls 90% of the country, why in the hell would he leave.
