If they were "sick to their stomachs",why would the jurors not say, let's look at the evidence, let's review the transcripts, let's study the testimony.....No. They came to court in the Sunday best, expecting to go on Television with Gerealdeo, Good Morning America, and the rest. So. They got the case at about 2 PM...oriented as to the court ordered responsibilities for about 2 hours, talked about it for about an hour, retired to dinner and then a good night sleep, got up and dressed up as good as they could for their 15 minutes of fame. They did not even pretend to deliberate. They wanted to be unsequestered so they could go to the limelight.

So...beyond reasonable doubt. It seems to have meant to this jury is that rational thought, reason and making reasonable connections with the circumstantial evidence, and disposing of logic to rush to a conclusion which served their own desires of emancipation and on to fame.

You know, not only that but if this jury really still believed her to be guilty after the trial but felt the state had some questions to answer - why not hang the jury so the state can get their case tightened up for another trial?

Instead, they not only allow a person they know killed a 2 year old walk free, they assure she can’t be retried for the murder because they were stupid/tired/ignorant and could not come up with a verdict. Not to mention some comments we are hearing out of the jury that is beginning to make us wonder if there was jury misconduct during this trial.

I hope Judge Perry and the State are taking a good look at what took place during deliberations and in fact, throughout the entire trial.
