GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) -- Grand Rapids Police Chief Kevin Belk says the man suspected in seven Michigan shooting deaths has killed himself and two hostages he was holding are safe.
Belk said 34-year-old Rodrick Shonte Dantzler fatally shot himself inside a Grand Rapids home where here had been holding the hostages Thursday night.
Dantzler had released a 53-year-old female hostage unharmed earlier in the evening. Two other hostages had remained in the home.
A manhunt for Dantzler began after four people were found dead in one Grand Rapids home and three were found in another across town. Belk says the dead included two children.

Well thank you for taking the time to post that kind comment. My husband would love it if I’d write speeches, rather than talk to him all the time! LOL. It is truly a shame how many human lives have been wasted by evil socialist programs that ensure failure of God’s children. They don’t have a chance for the most part. So few escape the vicious cycle of socialist dependence on a heartless government program. Every one of those children could thrive in a good Christian home away from the harmful environment they are born into.
Milwaukee (just an hour east of me) has seen the rotten fruit of socialist welfare on July 3rd. Gangs of black youths, beating senseless, innocent bystander white people, and the Milwaukee police not taking statements from bloodied beating victims. They beat up white people just to watch them bleed and laugh at them. Milwaukee police chief Flynn evidently thinks if no reports of crimes are taken, they don’t happen, and if they are not reported, they don’t end up in his crime stats, and he can claim a lowering of crime in Milwaukee.

I read that the new thing is that they will “cold cock” the white person, seeing how well they can take him to the ground with one blow to the head. This is truly the devil’s doing.

Agreed, the good guys did a great job and should be recognized for it. The only time I heard any real excitement in their voices was when two of them ended up inside with the perp after hearing a shot fired.
A higher authority than the police guided this mans hands to take the right action. This a**hole even killed his own daughter.
He deserved a quick end of his life without involving anyone else.
And with the absolute total breakdown of the justice system its a better ending anyway, if he was just arrested he might have gotten off with some sort of clause, Muslim, Race card, friend of Obama etc.

That’s where I run into problems with the anti LEO crowd. The clearly don’t want police to do anything correctly. Its no different than the anti gun crowd salivating at the thought of a good mass murder. If police had gone in with guns blazing and accidentally killed a hostage, you can bet the anti LEOS would be screaming the loudest.
I heard the call go out to “eliminate the threat if possible” but the opportunity never came up and it would have been entirely justified.
Like you, I have real problems with real police corruption but I’m certainly not going to encourage it as a means to an end.
