Canada's cold proof: Job growth without 'stimulus'

President Obama insists that our sluggish recovery would've been even worse without his $830 billion "stimulus." Last Friday, the White House released a report purportedly showing that passage of the "stimulus" created up to 3.6 million jobs (even though the economy actually lost 1.8 million jobs since then).
But if Obama's program -- including a 28 percent hike in spending since 2008 and more than $4 trillion in deficits -- worked so well, why has our unemployment rate risen more since those policies were adopted than have the rates of the European Union, South America, Japan, Australia or New Zealand?
Just look north: The recession hit Canada hard. Because its economy and ours are connected, our unemployment rates moved similarly from July 2008 until the "stimulus" passed; both countries' rates were 6.1 percent in August 2008 and rose in lockstep through February 2009, to around 8 percent.
But right after Obama's "stimulus," things changed. Canada greatly outperformed America in creating jobs -- supposedly the whole point of the "stimulus."

President Obama insists that our sluggish recovery would've been even worse without his $830 billion "stimulus." It's true.

A job is created when an employer believes that he can make more money by hiring another person.
In today's economy it's not clear he can afford to keep the ones he has.
No amount of confiscating cash and giving it political crones will improve that situation.

Allow me to use logic. There are two explanations that could be presented here (by the Obama administration). Explanation 1: The stimulus failed. Conclusion: the administration does not know what it is doing. Explanation 2: The economy was worse than they thought. Conclusion: the administration does not know what it is doing.
Are there any questions?

Why did the US and Canadian rates diverge?
Because we have exported our manufacturing seed corn?

A businessman finds that with the capitol he had that his business has created a product that is in high demand and he needs to hire someone to perform the tasks to produce that product en mass. Hence, work is defined as, a task performed, and a job is born.
There are two big things that prevent a businessman from production..loss of product demand, or intervention from an outside source making the business a losing proposition.
We all know who the outside source is.
