Something is wrong with this text.
I do not know if (a) it is a poor translation, (b) it is the text from someone’s statements that were made somewhere, and some “when” else, or (c) the man who is said to have spoken the text is totally mad.
But “General Allenby” is a historic British figure from the period of the British mandate of Palestine.
In as much as “the speaker” seems to address Allenby directly, as if Allenby were around today, either the speaker is mad or the text was not spoken by him in 2009. Those facts make the whole text suspect.
When that is understood - that Allebby is a historic British figure from the period of the British Mandate of Palestine, other aspects of the text can also be taken as “spoken out of time” as well.
Now, maybe the speaker, the supposedly Egyptian leader of today, was actually quoting something spoken by a historic Muslim personality from the period of the British Mandate of Palestine.
If so, the “translators” seem to have missed that context, putting a historic statement into a modern mouth.
Don’t get me wrong, I have no reason to believe an Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader of today is not capable of saying the words in the text that is said to be a translation of his speech; and a lot of reason to believe he is very much so inclined to say such things.
I just have doubts that the quotes in the translation are actually his, unless he is also certifiably insane and in a habit of addressing dead people.
Actually, after hearing many similar types of lies and hyperbole come from the mouths of Muslims via video recordings both in english and translated from Arabic, Farsi, or other languages over many years, I have no problem thinking that he could, would, and probably did say what is being attributed here.
