Morning AB, All

….as always AB, thank you for doing this thread.

Tonight I attend my first meeting as a duly appointed ED (election district) representative of the Republican party. This is a meeting of all the ED’s in Sussex county under our RD(representative district). The ED is like the voting places and the RD is the overall district as represented by a….well a representative to the state legislature.

Tomorrow night I will attend my first Sussex countywide Republican party meeting as an ED.

I got an email asking me to do it and I said yes. I resigned from my position on the church Finance Council because, well at this point in time I’d rather be an ED and work a little bit in politics.

Sussex county did succeed, God Bless Us all, in overturning the whole pack of jackals who so betrayed us during the Christine O’Donnell election...which was as much about Mike Castle as anything let’s not fool ourselves.

Have no idea what I’m supposed to do but when I find out I’ll tell you. Everyone in the Republican party in the entire state of Delaware (well I know it’s not that big but still….) has been kicked out.

It was one of the most vicious fights folks, dear Lord it was brutal. For while Republicans bow to Obamer and reach across the aisle handily...THEY BEAT AND BITE AND LIE ABOUT THEIR OWN BASE...yes they do.

I admit I wasn’t all that instrumental in the overthrow though, ahem, some might say I was right in the thick of it in that I was the scribe, the rabble-rouser with the keyboard, insert smile here.

Wish me luck and stay tuned because it CAN be done and a whole lot of angry people worked like the dickens to make it happen.

In the interest of fairness and balance, shouldn’t there be some “millionaires and billionaires” scheduled for these shows?

Geithner tells Gregory “that’s a ridiculous chart” when Gregory shows a chart of economic figures on Obama’s inauguration day vs today.

[Yeah, it’s ridiculous, because it shows the truth of how Obama has failed on the economy.]

Gregory asks whether the economy is improving. Geithner sidesteps and talks around, saying ‘the economy is improving’.

Gregory is hitting Geithner pretty hard on the economy this morning.

Geithner responds that ‘people are going back to living withing their means’. [Wha?????????????]

Gregory is being a pit bull this morning at Geithner. [Paint me shocked!]

Geithner blames the economic problems on Congress for not passing legislation fast enough. Recovery is still going to take a long time, caused by a long period of growing economic problems.

McConnel seems to have gotten the message that the Party is in revolt and there is no reason to cave. Bet his phone has been melting.

Now the tax and spend response.

Good Lord...Timmy Geithner is on with LIES...this guy talks about ‘ CRISIS “! ( HEY, TOO GOOOD A CRISIS TOO WASTE, TIMMY?)

How nauseating this man is and to think he got his job being a tax cheat but the son of a political insider. I wish we could blame his fellow college peers that didn’t frag him!

I love this part of her description of the leader we need: “bucking the status quo, fighting the corrupt powers that be”.

Just who other than the governor herself do we have who fits that mold?

Let me guess: They are all going to try and convince the American people the “dooms day clock” is ticking and if the nasty republicans don't vot to raise our (credit cards) debt limit, the entire world will end right before our eyes!

The socialist can go straight to hell with those lies, and had better figure out what they are going to tell their socialist friends they have promised to bail out, i.e. Greece that the check is not in fact in the mail from the American people.

The American people have just stop payment on all the socialist's promised checks and we are not going to pay one more penny to fund anymore socialist welfare programs, communist bailouts, and reelection payoffs, operation fast and furious, buying Mexican gangsters automatic weapons, and kickbacks for the Obumbum administration to get reelected to office!

THE BUCK STOPS RIGHT HERE WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

GET OVER IT SOCIALIST, WE ARE TAKING BACK OUR COUNTRY NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY, OR TRY AND THREATEN US WITH!

What happened to McCain, Schumer, and the usual Obama suckups?

I have a feeling there are some who don't want to talk about Operation Fast and Furious at this time, in the event that some host asked about the admin's involvement.

Ha! You mean like Harry Reid, John F’n Kerry, or Jay Rockerfeller?

They're on enough.

I'd like to see new guests on the shows. If they could just invite one Congressman per week who has never been on a Sunday show before—to replace the perennials like Biden, McCain, Chuck U. Shumer, Lindsay, Dick Turbin, Washerwoman-Spitz, etc—it would be a vast improvement!

Exactly, and I have made my peace with Michelle for letting her pit bull--Ed Rollins blast Sarah. Michelle did apologize which is good enough for me.

She is the hottest candidate we have right now. Hard to tell what Palin will do. We all hope she runs but time will tell.

Yeah, well, Tom, I suppose they want Geithner to take the fall to keep Obama from getting the blame. He's the scapegoat. Gregory probably got his Journ-O-list marching orders...

McConnell is wrong about Congress voting to increase the debt limit. Many Reps. have said they will not vote to increase debt limit, most notably Michelle Bachman. McConnell has no sense of what the people and Tea Party members want.

This Rep Becerra is walking a tricky line.

This debt ceiling thing is gonna be big, in many ways.

And frankly, I don’t see cutting Soc. Sec. as an answer but I’m not going to argue the rights and wrongs of this, but I will state why I think this is so.

The American people know that there is a lot of wasteful spending by the gubmint. Bureaucracies are bloated, hey, get rid of the damn Post office or reduce it to a letter carrier, let the privates deliver the packages, cut out the EPA.....and the American public knows that these shovel ready projects were a big waste of money.

the American people, including Becerra’s constituents, are looking for reductions in this sort of thing FIRST. It’s kind of like immigration...we don’t mind giving amnesty to the folks who already live here but we did that once before and here we are again. Shore up those borders and enforce those immigration laws FIRST then we’ll talk amnesty.

This puts the politicos in a bad position, INCLUDING THE RINOS who knew this was happening right along. They sure don’t want to reduce their pet pork projects and they’ve got a lot of hispanic voters back home.

The American public, to sum it up, wants the politicians to STOP LOOKING OUT FOR THE POLITICIANS!

This does not include taking SS money from Grandma.

You telling me MCCain and his ilk did not know about that stupid thing going on with the banks and mortgages given to those without means to pay it? No wait! McCain was all busy passing that campaign finance reform thing dear Lord I sleep better every night knowing that law’s in place, don’t you?

Thanks for thread AB. Hope Boehner does not cave. Isn’t is sad you finally get your guys in place and then you have to plead with them to not cave? Geesh. If Obama has one “gift”, and he does share it with almost all other stupid and ignorant people, is that he is stubborn as a mule.

Yeah, I almost dropped my coffe cup when I heard Gregory go after Geithner...what it demostrated though was Timmy’s unbelievable fantastic skill at obfuscating, lying and fear mongering!

THAT WILL go over VERY well with the uneducated, entitlement driven masses!

Gregory, incredulously, to Pawlenty: Are you saying Obama is to blame for the economy?

==

Pawlenty makes a good showing, is articulate. Regarding polls, he repeats that ‘early polls don’t mean much.’

Gregory asks Pawlenty about Romney/Romneycare.

[Asking that question shows that Romney has a continuing hurdle with his Romneycare.]

Gregory, trying for a sound byte: Where would you break with the Republican party?

Pawlenty talks around the question.

Gregory asks about Bachmann. [P doesn’t take the bait.]

Gregory does NOT ask whether Bachmann is a ‘flake’ [shades of Chris Wallace].

Gregory interrupting and trying to trip up Geithener with attacking Bachman and trying to get Pawlenty to attack other Republicans.
Pawlenty holding up well.
