McConnell is wrong about Congress voting to increase the debt limit. Many Reps. have said they will not vote to increase debt limit, most notably Michelle Bachman. McConnell has no sense of what the people and Tea Party members want.
He never opens is wide enough. He was speaking on the spinate floor the other day and you could hardly see his lips move. Someone must have told him the only time a politician lies is when his lips move.
