the word "prosperity" appears in place of the correct word, "posterity."

An appropriate tribute to the laziness and functional illiteracy of today's America. I'm sure the dimwit who "corrected" the word's spelling hasn't cracked open a dictionary in years, if ever.

Makes me wonder how many members of the Obama Stash Club were in the chain of people who reviewed or simply saw the text without the slightest clue.

Although it was probably accidental, it's still funny. Etching is forever.

Hey, Joe, lookee here! These stupid people put the work "posterity" in this here quote. Haw, haw, haw! They don't know you posterity is another word for your butt! I better fix it cuz if'n I don't, we's gonna get laughed at fer lettin it slip through.

I know how to spell prosperity cause there's this here quote in the paper by Dick Obama sayin prosperity is just around the corner. An I know he ain't talking about our butts! Haw, haw, haw!

No doubt the etcher had no idea what "posterity" means and had never seen or heard it before so he just perceived the word as the familiar "prosperity." Human beings tend to do things like that, but still, it is inexcusable under the circumstances.
