California passed an in itiative in 1999 for medical marijuana, and the feds never tried hard to enforce their laws.
To my knowledge, it isn’t a major issue, in the overall ranking of problems.
Balancing the budget is, though.

So you support the New Deal Commerce Clause, eh. Federal control over health care, education and the environment is also based on that interpretation.
Do you believe that is in keeping with the original Commerce Clause and Tenth Amendment?

What a monumentally idiotic headline. Last time I checked you didn't need a prescription from a physician to get coffee at Starbuck's. Lol! I think it's "monumentally" ironic that you posted this comment...but I'm not going to waste time explaining why, because you clearly would not "get it" - and you are most definitely not from Denver. Ha!

Do you mean they couldn’t make money selling Marijuana anymore? They could always get into the meth peddling business. Most meth comes from Mexico these days

Very mature. Go ahead and smoke your pot and tell your nursery rhymes. Perhaps from the swansong of the red diaper doper babies?
Such is the reading level of most potheads I’ve come across, anyway.
“Medical” marijuana. What a freaking joke.
To: dennisw
There are now more medical marijuana dispensaries in the Mile High city than there are branches of Starbucks. Good. I didn't like their coffee anyway...besides it's too expensive.

This is the only thing that embarrasses me about FR! There are so many of our members who don’t “get” basic literature! I’m talking about sarcasm, exaggeration, irony, and ESPECIALLY “satire”.
(Now, because there are so many dolts here, unfortunately, I must say “yes, I know this post is NOT SATIRE”.)
But, seriously, how sad is it that some people here on FR don’t get the finer styles of written communication?
Toad - the headline was not meant to be ‘literal’. It is trying to make a point that there are many hundreds of shops here in Denver - and suggests it’s, therefore, easier to get weed than coffee. That’s all.

Exactly! See my post #38. In My Hands always posts his comments in a little black frame; this is the ‘tell’ of a narcissist. He always tries to carefully craft his little memes so very carefully - and then ‘gift wrapped’ in a neat little frame.

Hundreds of thousands of people now flaunt Federal law in Colorado with impunity. Its pretty evident that laws mean nothing any more in this country. Its just one of the many ways Obama has gone about in deliberately destroying the United States: changing a nation based on law into a nation of lawbreakers.
No, Americans love freedom and when evil communists and fascists make evil laws, freedom loving people resist them.
Most of the laws we have were written in the last 40 years by the worst generation of Americans that has ever existed in this country. We have 5 times the prison population of the previous generation. There is something really wrong with us.

“easier to get weed than coffee”
That’s like saying because there are more women than weed shops that it is easier to get laid than get weed.
Making such statements about weed versus coffee is not “satire”. So it seems somen doesn’t get “basic literature”. It is simply a bad comparison, and a retarded one at that.

So is our Nation planning on trading pot to our enemies for trade instead of products that we manufactured in the past? Our leaders are brilliant, I tell ya. ...must be that crap that they’re smoking.

Yep. And what's worse, is that addicts and pushers are very mouthy compulsive liars online.

Yeah, right. The Third World extends even more to the west and south. It's also starting to spill onto the Range from the resorts, outward.

Do you mean they couldnt make money selling Marijuana anymore?Exactly. I thought it was the economy but friends of mine who know everything about the MM laws told me that selling pot was their real source of income and the pot shops blew them out of the water.
They could always get into the meth peddling business.
They would have a near zero market for it here.

I don’t know what you’re seeing in your local area but 80-90% of the illegals left here about two years ago. Ain’t no Third World in this town now.
