Anyone notice that the assertion that he would face charges in the headline became ‘may face charges’ in the first sentence?

Nowhere is any agency mentioned that would press these charges nor is there anyone quoted who advocated pressing charges.

This is either rank propaganda or incompetence in journalism that would make even liberals cringe.

Which do you think?

The article also stated that the Dutch tried one of their Members of Parliment for speaking the truth about islam, but that he was acquited. I didn’t catch where this speech took place.

Yes. See my comment at #21, which I posted before reading your's. (BTW, the "charged" in the headline does not IMO neccessarily imply any official charges. It could just as well be the usual whiny "charges" from one of those pesky muslim interest groups. I suspect the latter.)
