Boy. The Brit papers really did some slimy stuff to get news. I know that that doesn’t happen here in the US. The Lamestream only reports what the Regime tells them to. Nothing more or less. Not an iota of investigating.

So, there’s been a trial and a guilty verdict handed down?

It struck me only tonight, this is “The Front Page” updated and writ large. Cary Grant and Roz Russell talking very fast would fit perfectly.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but Murdock's papers have admitted to the hacking previously.

This issue has been in the news in the UK with the same cast of characters since 2006. It's been to court, people have gone to jail, and huge fines and judgments have been paid.

The people in charge of the News admitted to further charges last week and ended up shutting down the newspaper to try to appease the public.

Here is a timeline of events: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/phone-hacking/8623682/News-of-the-World-axed-timeline-of-the-phone-hacking-scandal.html

So, yes, there have been trials and they have admitted to their guilt over this issue.

The search is for "tabloid admits hacking" (no quotes):

Why was there no curiousity when Chuck Schumer’s office somehow got Michael Steele’s private info? But some employees at Rupert Murdoch’s paper did something bad, and instead of being hailed as heroes (like Woodward, Bernstein, and Jason Blair), they’re attacked by the media?

Hmm?

Got Hussein?

1) This is the UK, not the US involved.
2) Among the people hacked were crime victims, including the cellphone of a child, Milly Dowling, killed by a serial killer, while the child was still missing. In addition, families of people killed by the Muslim-inspired terrorists attacks of 7/7 and soldiers killed in Afghanistan were hacked.

I don’t recall Woodward and Bernstein printing Richard Nixon’s children’s medical records.
