Perry raffles lunch with Rove

Care to revise that accusation, Mr. Matlock?

I keep seeing a lot of "friend" and "loyalty" type arguments in these Perry threads with respect to the Bushes as to why Rove would not work on Perry's behalf (when all the evidence suggests otherwise). "Friends" and "loyalty" to the Bush clan has nothing to do with the current GOP/American Crossroads skullduggery. Rove is a hired gun, and a very powerful one, who's loyalty extends as far as the last paycheck.

One would think that years of FReeping and watching cutthroat politics in action would disabuse people that "friends" has anything to do with it. I guess some people prefer to go through life with their heads stuck firmly in the sand when it comes to GOP internal shenanigans.

All you can come up with is Perry's Facebook page advertising a raffle for someone to have lunch with Karl Rove?

That's a stretch. Now, I will give you this (if it comes to fruition.)..

IF...Rove forms an alliance with Perry in the near future, and if you can show evidence of that, the very best you will have is Rove trying to get on the Perry bandwagon for personal gain.

Listen to me CLEARLY. Karl Rove has had contempt for Rick Perry for several years. That is FACT, and is well-documented.

If that somehow "changes" in the weeks or months ahead, then you can pat yourself on the back. But it in NO WAY makes Perry a bad candidate. ANYONE can join a bandwagon.

You have nothing.
