Stephen D. Anthony, the special agent in charge of the Cleveland Division of the FBI, and Chief Michael McGrath with the Cleveland Police Department announced Saleh Ali S. Alramakh, 21, was arrested after he repeatedly disobeyed orders from flight attendants Friday and his behavior eventually escalated to shoving, kicking and spitting.
The trouble allegedly began when Alramakh, of Akron, went into the restroom and used an electronic device during taxi in Chicago.
Flight attendants asked that he immediately turn off the device and return to his seat.
At first Alramakh refused, but eventually complied.
Right after take off Alramakh returned to the restroom to use his electronic device once again despite the fact that passengers were required to remain seated with seat belts fastened.
When Alramakh refused to cooperate with fight attendants' requests that he return to his seat, the attendants unlocked and opened the door.
But before long, Alramakh exited his seat for a third time and confronted a flight attendant in what was described as a 'belligerent, confrontational manner.'
He was accused of speaking in a loud voice and using profanity while standing just inches from the flight attendant's face.
Alramakh was asked to step back, but instead he allegedly shoved the flight attendant backward.

Student Visa, Saudi Arabia, prior arrest for drugs....
Ping!
Just shoot the bastard on the spot.
Obama’s religion of peas.
That's a big no-no.
My friend got up, walked into the cockpit and told the captain what had just happened, at which time the captain radioed the gate. Within three minutes, the lady was searched in the first class aisle, handcuffed, and removed from the plane. I believe she was tried in Federal Court for assault and served 30 days of jail time.
Moral: Do as you're told on a plane.
Fortunately, my last flight out of the USA was in Jan 2005,
and I have no plans to return.
Even in 2004, or maybe earlier, there was an incident on my
KLM flight from Amsterdam to Memphis.
There were a group of about four middle eastern guys on the flight.
A very young kid in the center aisle, and a few seats behind me was making funny faces at other passengers.
One of the Muzies wrote BOOM BOOM on some paper and waved it at the kid.
When the plane landed, we were told to stay seated...US marshals would be boarding.
Four big scraping and mean looking guys came to our section and rounded up the Muzies.
Following news reports the next day indicated that the Muzies were detained overnight, then released to fly on to Texas.
The point is, it takes very little to set off the alarms on any US flight now.
I'm going to suggest that most if not all of the flight attendants were female. They asked him very politely I'm sure, but no, he wasn't going to listen to "some woman". I hope he resisted hard during the scuffle. Knock a few teeth out of his mouth.
I'll say also that I believe that many of these actions a probative by nature, an attempt to see what they can get away with.
Good. I as an uninvolved passenger would be disturbed by this type of behavior.
+2!
The finishing schools aren't turning out ladies the way they used to.
This muzzie will face no such justice because he is a muzzie.

Saleh Ali S. Alramakh is DEFINITELY an Amish name.
“Cleveland Police Officers found Alramakh restrained on the floor when the plane landed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport around 5:20 p.m. Friday.”
THAT’S the spirit!!
Lying in a pool of blood and restrained ,even better.
I know I would have been quite upset with his behavior.
I flew a few years ago and we had a group of ME type fellows who all had little brown bags board our flight. All sat in different seats and all made trips back and forth to the restrooms with their little brown bags....
A look to one of the stewardess at the third one going to the restroom and there was a nearly imperceptible nod of acknowledgment.
There were reports of this on other flights, but the airlines all played it down at the time.
Absolutely. In this day and age, we are not taking a ride to Cuba. Everybody does or should know the rules by now. It's fight for your life. It's you and them up there; nobody else can help.
Funny, I was just wondering why the airlines did not employ men who had served in Special Forces or had specific training in martial arts as flight attendents. I think it would cut down on some of these incidents. It would give the legitimate flying public some peace of mind as well.
Customers don’t like them. One of my frat bros is a Stew and so is his partner. Both gay. Both weightlifters. You can’t tell when the suits are on but I wouldn’t mess with him. The airlines like to hire people who appear to be subservient. Small women and gay men.
I like it. I'm certain that many ex-military personnel would take a job such as this. I would have them act as a normal passenger however.
Your idea is a good one on another level as well. Would I tend to use an airline that I knew had such measures in place? You betcha.
