Well, it’s not the OLD regulations that are that bad...we’ve already learned to somewhat tolerate those.

Well, it’s not the OLD regulations that are that bad...we’ve already learned to somewhat tolerate those. It’s the NEW ones, and the ones on the horizon. This sounds an awful lot like "It's not the OLD water that is that bad...we frogs have already learned to somewhat tolerate it. It's that the heat's still on."
Don't complain about staying in the old water, do something about getting out of the pot.
