I would say your blood relative is putting you on. There are mirrors on the moon placed there by Apollo Astronauts. If you shine a laser beam on them, they reflect it back. This experiment has been confirmed hundred if not thousands of times by observatories all over the world. This stuff has been observed and confirmed by people who don't even like us, so if THEY are willing to admit we put those there, then that pretty much settles the issue for any reasonable person.

Also, several other countries have built satellites that they've sent to the moon. Their satellites can SEE our stuff sitting there on the surface of the moon.
