Disagree - nobody's hurt and nobody's in danger if the prop's fouled or stinky stuff is sprayed. Nobody seizes the Japanese vessels or kills/injures crewmen or steals their stuff or holds them for ransom like our Somali buddlies. Not piracy, right?

Now, if the Sea Shepherds were using metal projectiles or deliberately ramming and sinking vessels - as the Japanese have - that would be deliberate violence and potentially chargeable as an offence.

But for some reason (more than likely money to the right people) nobody is objecting to the Japanese offenses. It is illegal to kill whales for food, yet they are doing it in plain sight - only chunky Paul Watson and his gang of twits are doing a dang thing.

If you are supporting the Japanese, why?..

Look disabling a ship on the high seas puts the crew in danger ANYTIME. A ship that cannot maneuver is at critical risk.

I am not supporting the Japanese. I am supporting the rule of law as practiced on the high seas for centuries.

The Japanese did not intentionally ram the Sea Hippies. The Sea hippies violated EVERY rule of ship operation and did not yield to the larger ship (in fact they intentionally drove in front of a moving vessel) That puts them at fault.

The collision between the Japanese ship and the Irwin was also the Sea Hippies fault. They had an obligation to yield (once again) to the larger ship.

The Sea Hippies boarded the Japanese ship (another violation of law)without permission and that Bethune idiot broke down in court and cried like a little girl.

Do you pull out in traffic in front of trucks with your vehicle?

” nobody’s in danger if the prop’s fouled “

You obviously no nothing about sailing. A fouled prop can sink a ship once the ship goes sideways to the waves.

As far as stinky stuff not being a harm then you won’t mind someone tossing them into your apartment.

I say the Japenese have every right to kill those stiny maggot infested hippies.
