Cantor should use Obama’s OWN WORDS against him:

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here’. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” - Senator Barack Hussein Obama, 2006

Call your senators of both parties and raise Hell about Reid’s childish antics - and that you support Cantor.

Make them feel the heat 202-224-3121.

Obama can’t take the stress and he reaches a point that he has to flee.

Here's an interesting unsourced tidbit that floated by the other day ...

I would like to see one of the GOP leaders come out and state that Reid should not be in talks. As a matter of fact GOP, why are you attending these talks? NO TO DEBT CEILING INCREASES - you are already blamed for whatever results of this debacle.

Everything the RATs are doing right now is a big show. The objective is to make Republicans look extreme, and Obama to look moderate. Obama’s walkout was pre-planned and staged. So are Ried’s comments.

Zero is simply laying the groundwork for the RAT campaign next year. The question is, are the American public stupid enough to fall for it once again?

“harry will never give mitch permission to open his mouth to defend anything.”

If the Gobbler had an stones he would fire back at Reid and tell him that he doesn’t belong at the table until the senate passes a budget. But McConnell as always is hiding under his desk while Reid spits on Republicans. Nothing new here.

You are wrong.

There will be no tax increases.

The Republicans will not vote to raise taxes, period.

The votes are not there.

Mark it.

You are wasting all this time and angst over it.

The Republicans should never forget how they were totally shut out of the health care debate. Or, how the cry baby president said they need to go to the back of the bus. Democrats are shameless pieces of excrement. The Republicans better reload as Palin told them to do last night.

Reid: Cantor should not be in debt limit talks

Which of course means that he IS needed as Reid is not smart enough to use reverse psychology. Even if no deal is likely, we need more meetings between Republicans and 0bama because 0bama is showing signs of cracking up. This is no longer about the good of the country; 0bama has transformed the debt ceiling fight into the first round of the 2012 elections. Cantor, Ryan and anyone else that can bruise 0bama’s frail ego with cogent, cutting attacks must attend the meetings (I would have liked to see this on c-span and maybe we should in future!). Let 0-bama scream, fuss, wail and cry; that’s the whole point now.
The Republicans are on defense, but they must keep up the pressure and sack the QB or get him to throw up an interception.

Perhaps Obama had a little panic attack and had to get out of there to get some "meds."

Pour it on Cantor, pour it on. BALLS TO THE WALLS!

"he shouldn't even be at the table."

Hmmm, Harry "I can smell the peasants" Reid is mad? Something might be actually going right here, (for once). Can you smell us now Harry?

The RATS are increasingly playing with fire relative to Cantor, because the MSM is not going to turn him into Gingrich and the Jewish community will not allow it. Nor should they.

Can’t stand that snively, weasly, soft voice coming from the Head Leech in the Senate. Harry scReid is a gentle, little, garden snake but one just the same.

“The Republicans will not vote to raise taxes, period”

I agree and I don’t think barry really cares. He will blame HIS trillion dollar deficits on the Republicans not wanting “fair share” taxes on the rich.

Boehner and Cantor are on the same page.

No tax increases.

Cantor works for Boehner, in effect. The majority leader works for the speaker’s regime. You would know better than to claim that the Vice President would be a key figure compared to the President, in the executive branch. You should know better, then, than to try separating out Cantor from Boehner as if Cantor being excluded - which he won’t be - would somehow change anything. It would change nothing.

Everyone has their own style. But the substance is coming from Boehner and is being carried out by Cantor as well.
