Good. Obama needs to understand that he is not in a position to bargain - he has no power on this issue. The House has complete control - they can merely refuse to pass a bill raising the debt limit and there isn't a darn think Obama can do about it.

Let's see if they actually have the spine to hold the line. If they hold firm and the deadline passes, when the world does not end they will be vindicated.
