I hope she runs. Right now the party seem rudderless. If her candidacy is as strong as I think it might be, then she can at least keep the other contenders to keep to the right path.

I agree with its bottom line conclusion of this article but it doesn’t address the question of Sarah’s high negatives nationally and thus doesn’t add much to our strategic thinking.

If I were a member of Sarah’s inner circle I would smile and appreciate this puff piece (for a comfortable moment or two) and then get back to brainstorming ways to overcome the obstacle of high negative ratings in the general population, an issue that this puff piece seems not to be even aware of, and an issue that Sarah and her friends are surely working on right now, as we speak.

Stomping my boot to the wooden floor, tapping my cane in cadence, and with a glad and heartfelt shout.... I sound in agreement, “HEAR, HEAR”!!!

There may not be a way to undo much of the negatives - but it may not matter. If the economy is still sputterring, she’s got a puncher’s chance and might win b/c of voter enthusiasm. If the economy is showing signs of life, 0bama will beat any GOPer.

Yeah Hear!!! Hear!!!

Put Gov. Sarah Palin up against Obama, the contrast is night and day. (Sorry not an innuendo there)

Palin will smoke Obama seriously. With the mood of the people, the economy, we will be looking at another stunning landslide victory for Palin.

And hehehe...I have bet my unbelieving daughter that when Palin wins, that she attends with me the Inauguration of the 45th President of the United States.

Ahhh...the words “President Sarah Louise Palin” How sweet it is!!!

At this point I don’t care if Palin jumps in the race. I don’t want to see her having a cat fight with Bachmann. Sarah be the cagey grizzly mama that you are, don’t fight with Bachmann—go after Mitt if you do anything!

Were you aware that Ed Rollins, Rep. Bachmann’s campaign manager, has already attacked Gov. Palin?

I saw her on Hannity last night. Seems like she may have made some adjustments in her speaking style, less squeaky. Can only help.

And if Bachmann’s point man goes after Palin? You’re cool with that? Just as long as Sarah doesn’t get in and start a cat fight, eh??

*rolls eyes*

Funny how no one mentioned a potential “cat fight” between pawlenty and romney at the debate. It infuriates me that 2 women at a time can’t be involved in politics without having this sexist “cat fight” crap thrown at them.

A concise, plainly stated article that offers a cogent argument for Sarah Palin as the Republican candidate for president in 2012. Palins detractors will hasten to point out her negative poll numbers, as if these are written in stone and will never rise if Palin actually runs for president. Columnist Michael Medved has posited that Sarah Palin is just a media celebrity and popular only because she is physically attractive. Of course, the left has always used the 'she's stupid' attack, usually in a form of ridicule. Last month, the governor's e-mails proved to demonstrate Palin's diligence in office and, in effect, backfired on the leftmedia, hoping for a scandal they might use to hammer her.

The fact remains that Sarah Palin is enormously popular with most conservatives, if not the Republican establishment and punditry elites. I believe that Obama, despite the MSMs wholehearted support and pretense that he is a viable candidate for re-election, is going down in flames to whomever the GOP challenger may be, much as Carter did in 1980. Then, America was fortunate to get Ronald Reagan. Times change and now, some 30+ years later, America will be equally fortunate to have Sarah Palin as the 45th President of the United States. I can hardly wait!

I think we need her to run, but by the time the race gets going Romney and Perry are likely to be her two main opponents.

She needs to start raising hell about the possibility of the GOP leadership caving in DC.

(AS does Perry).

I think Bachmann is goign to ride that issue pretty hard, and she should, but multiple voices on that point would be better!

Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann... SAME THING...
There is not enough room for both of them.. and they BOTH know it..

They both are not stupid.. and know exactly whats going on..
I suspect they talk to each other weekly or even daily sometimes..

They are both are TpCaucus candidates... and will support each other..
