Reid calls (Palin) tea party argument 'a bunch of garbage'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) described the argument by Sarah Palin and other conservatives that Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell’s backup debt plan is unconstitutional as "a bunch of garbage."

“I’ve been to a few court houses,” Reid said at a news conference on Thursday. Those in the tea party “seem to think they have an all knowing wisdom about the Constitution. In short, that’s a bunch of garbage. I don’t know how to say it more clearer than that.”

Reid can’t make a factual argument against anything Tea Party so he pulls out the Dem playbook and calls them names. Really juvenile. Making an argument without evidence would really sell well in court too. Proves that we are winning!

I've been to a few parking garages, but that doesn't mean I'm a car.

Been to Clinton V New York , Harry?

Remember, the reason there hasn’t been a vote on this in “more than a decade” is because the Supreme Court struck down the previous line-item veto from Congress as unconstitutional. In a rare decision that opposed Congress and the expansion of government power, the Court rules that the Constitution did not give Congress the power to hand such authority to the President.

Since only Constitutional Amendments, and not time, can change the enumerated powers of the Constitution…this remains true today.

Don’t worry. we members of the Kentucky Tea Party will make sure he gets “Primaried”, but you have to wait 3 years. He isn’t up for election until 2014.

“a bunch of garbage.”?

That is what he and his Senate colleagues along with Peolosi and the RATS in the House passed into law with OBAMACARE.

He has a lot of balls - - another RAT idiot.

Yes you do, Reid. Just be honest and say it.

“I don’t care if it’s unconstitutional. We will do what we damn well please. So, shut the hell up.””

Ungrammatical, too.

How I wish Bob Dornan was still in the US congress.

The fact that he isn't there tells you a lot about the RINO leadership that infects both houses doesn't it?
