No, no, NO!

No deal means Obama decides what to cut.
No deal means immediate cuts.
No deal means obama loses in ‘12.
No deal means no immediate huge increase in debt.

Yes deal means immediate huge increase in debt.
Yes deal means obama wins in ‘12 and a 3rd party overtakes Rs
Yes deal means no immediate cuts and no cuts ever [10 years out? Seriously?]

THERE IS NO PRESSURE FOR A DEAL.

The only deal that works is $1 raise for $1 cuts now.

I do believe the GOP would be blamed for no deal and the subsequent cuts—unless the House just does its job and passes a modest bill on its own. Let the Senate Dems and Obama refuse to accept the House’s work.

As to cuts from the Dems, read this and weep—they are negotiating more than a $100B of increases at this point:
