For those who didn't think MSNBC could sink much lower in its standards with such bottom feeders as Matthews, Maddow, and the late Keith Olbermann - SURPRISE! Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton appeared as HOST. This professional race hustler, demagogue, and shake-down artist is now part of the MSNBC family. But I guess that's where he belongs and he now has a media outlet that can help him foment riots like the one he did in NYC in which a man was killed and property destroyed.

While one might take Sharpton saying,"I'm smilin' cause y'all are losin", to mean republicans, what he really means is, "white".

Carry on.

We are at a turning point this summer. By 2012 America will be a very different place and one not imagined by the Liberals or the GOP. Americans have had enough of the phony propaganda about race and greed and the dying planet. There is a move to take back the nation and when it comes it will not be pretty. Things that used to be will be gone—I predict.
Newspapers—gone, Network TV evaporated, Universities, faded relics of the past, Liberalism as dead as the dodo bird. Even the Republican party will be gone, changed into something different—something closer to its roots. Look to see an America that resembles more the 1950s. Its long overdue.

Everything that comes out of the mouth of Sharpton has to do with race, race, and more race. Sharpton knows that his “bros” unemployment rate is sky high - much higher than the white unemployment number. Yet, he chooses to “stand by his boy” and let the “unemployed bros” fend for themselves.

Buchannon should’ve shot back and said, “Al- if by ‘ya’ll are losing’ you are referring to America or Americans sadly you are correct”...

Microsoft Quits MSNBC TV, but Web Partnership Remains

By BILL CARTER
Published: December 24, 2005
Ending a partnership that soured long ago, Microsoft and NBC announced yesterday that they would dissolve their joint ownership of the cable news channel MSNBC, with NBC taking control.

NBC has completed a deal to assume majority control of the channel immediately, with an 82 percent stake, and it will become the sole owner within two years, NBC executives said yesterday. The two companies did not disclose financial terms of the deal.

But the partners will continue their 50-50 ownership of the MSNBC Web site, which, partly as a consequence of its affiliation with Microsoft, is the most-used news site on the Internet...snip

From Wikipedia:

Although Microsoft and NBC shared operations of MSNBC cable at its founding, it was announced on December 23, 2005, that NBCUniversal would purchase a majority stake in the television channel, which left Microsoft with 18%, later reduced to zero.[7] The two companies remain partners in msnbc.com.

So Microsoft's only involvement is apparently in the web site, not the TV station.
