I believe he thinks everyone making less than $250K supports his tax increases because he tells them it is against everyone else, not them

Remember he was incredulous and then contemptuous that a working stiff like Joe the Plumber would dare to be against income redistribution, and his minions tried like hell to prove Joe was crazy, a hypocrite, or a planted shill

as if all people below $250K are economic illiterates and resentful envious marxist-hugging class warriors to boot

You are right. He simply assumes every middle class person would want to get more benefits on the backs of those earning $250K or more per year. When a middle class person dares to point out that the “rich” making $250K or more per year are likely to be the ones providing jobs for the middle class and thus, we don’t want to tax them to death, he is indignant.
