I’ve been hearing whispers that Michele Bachmann’s husband, Marcus, is gay for a while. It’s now exploding into a full-on meme.
Given my early bedtime, I’m always at least a day late on “Daily Show” bits. Last night, I saw this episode from Wednesday:

Now, I admit, Marcus Bachmann is pudgy and has a less-than-baritone voice. But, last I checked, those aren’t the distinguishing characteristics of homosexuality.
Apparently, gay activist Dan Savage has started pushing the meme hard, too. And Slate’s June Thomas is calling him out:
Dan Savage begins each of his “Savage Love Cast” podcasts with a rip-roaring rant—a sword of invective aimed at homophobic school boards that won’t let lesbians attend their high-school prom, hypocritical politicians, and generally despicable people. It’s a rousing start to 45 minutes of sex advice, and it’s usually right on and empowering.
This week, though, the podcast started with an attack on Marcus Bachmann’s masculinity.After a short preamble about the accuracy of gaydar (with a scientific citation, no less), Savage—whom I respect tremendously—played a tape of Michele’s* husband’s speaking voice. Bachmann has a tiny bit of a lisp—though it’s barely perceptible—and he slurs his words slightly. To Savage’s ears, it was a gay accent. Savage played the tape over and over, and reprised it several times throughout the podcast. He even did his own Bachmann impression, exaggerating the lisp and camping it up.

Freepers, remember what the liberals did to Palin? By demonizing her, her husband and family, they saw (and still see) a threat from across the aisle and they attacked. The same thing will happen to Bachmann or anyone who poses a threat to them. The more attacks, the more they are afraid. Nuff said.
These people consumed with wondering about queers are generally closet queens themselves.

That’s just going beyond overboard...and it’s exactly what the Democrates are doing...so those folks are sinking to that level. If you care to go back through my posts the last couple of weeks, you will find that I’ve been warning of this happening.
Yes, the media attacks Republicans, especially Conservative Republicans. So, you don’t nominate a candidate that they will be able to relentlessly mock, effectively.
They’ll mock any conservative, but they won’t be effective.
They’ve been mocking Palin, but she’s still the most popular and famous Republican to Republicans. There isn’t anything on Palin’s resume that’s really all that funny. Most of her resume is at least kinda heroic.
If you want to call Jerry Seinfeld and Jon Stewart effeminate, that’s fine. But they don’t cure gays with prayer.
I bet we can find a conservative that won’t be effectively mocked. Palin, Paul, Cain, I haven’t seen anything there on those bios that’s really that bad.
It’s good we’re getting Bachmann out of the way now.

Yes, her resume is not so good. Neither is Bachmann’s, and that’s leaving Marcus aside.
Well, you have to remember that Marcus cures gays with prayer.
When you factor that in, combine that with Marcus’s Liberace style, that’s the comedy.

Bachmann will be crushed worse than Palin, much much faster.
Palin is currently the most popular and most famous Republican, with Republicans. They media has been attacking her for 3 years. They haven’t hit her with any specific damaging thing. There is nothing on Palin that some good campaigning can’t fix.

Oh I don’t know about that...some black woman a very attractive...no more no less than any others IMO. But I do think Conservative woman are better looking...they have a “good look” because generally their hearts are in the right place, and that reflects in the face.
