I remember when I was a new navy officer aboard ship (Disbursing Officer - LHA2) and they had a Gay roundup. At that time they had to show that a gay guy had either done an act aboard ship of was leaning that way before they could kick em out. When questioning on of the young Seamen they asked him if he was attracted to any of the men aboard ship. He said he thought the Disbursing Officer had a cute @ss. I thought I would never live THAT down once the word got around...but I guess having control of everybody’s pay records minimized the damage.
I did brag to my girlfriend about it though :-)
