Excellent. The only thing I would have liked to have seen would be for Marco turn to Schiefffer and say, “Why are you asking me these questions? Why don’t you ask the President to reveal his plans? The ball is in his court.”

“My God is Marco good.
Clear,Concise,Confident and factual.
What beautiful presentation.
If he was in the race right now for pres. he be leading everybody including Bambi by 20 points.”

No doubt about it. And he is very nimble on his feet when fielding questions out of left field. If the Republican leadership could articulate even 1/2 as good as this young man, we would be way better off on the road to fiscal responsibility.

It’s time for someone like Senator Rubio to stand up to that empty suit in the White House and explain to the facts of life... and not worry about this sorry PC garbage, i.e., being labeled “racist.”

Liberals are like the person on trial for writing bad checks telling the judge,
“I’ve still got plenty of checks; it’s not my fault the bank is out of money.”

ROTFLMOL! Best laugh I’ve had today. You hit the nail square on the head.

It is easy for liberals to get lost in their own emotional crap.

Rubio’s amazing intellect shines thru like a beacon in the dark. I suppose that will be the last time we see him on CBS.

The country will survive in the long run, but it is going to get really bad for the next 10 to 20 years.

I drove through Indiana in the 90s and was stunned at all the empty factories. A few years later they were all gone - razed to bare land to lower taxes. Try building that factory today with all the rules and regulations. Gonna be longer than 20 years, IMO.

I am proud to say I told my wife, before he entered the Fla Primary, Rubio will be our next Senator and I intend to financially support him. She said, WHO? He blew away Crist in the primary and blew him and the dem, now nominated to the UN Assembly by the commie in chief, away in the general. I would love to see him run but his commentary has been he was selected to be a senator from Florida and he intends to stay in the Senate. So be it...hopefully he continues to give McConnell fits as he does not buy into his RINO program.

Still looking over the pre candidate field for 2012 because Nelson has to go here too. We need a good turnout of conservatives to rid the country of the menace in the White House. If we run some weak RINO, that race could be tough to pull out as split tickets are rare.

Regretfully, it appears that Mr. Rubio does not qualify as a “natural born citizen” and hence may not be eligible for the Presidency or Vice Presidency. While he was native born in 1971, his father did not apply to become a naturalized citizen until four years later.

As Leo Donofrio has noted, “In Minor v. Happersett (1874), the Supreme Court said that if you were born in the United States and both of your parents were U.S. citizens at the time of your birth, you are, without doubt, a natural born citizen. In the same case, the Supreme Court also said that, if you were born in the United States and one of your parents was not a U.S. citizen when you were born, your natural born citizenship is in doubt.”

Republican Chester Arthur’s Irish immigrant father was not considered when Arthur was named Garfield’s VP. After Garfield’s assasination, Arthur served as a one-term President, the only one since Revolutionary times to not qualify as “natural born.”

Today, double standards should not be part of a conservative platform.

double standards should not be part of a conservative platform.

Neither should birther crackpot mythology.

Rubio is perfectly eligible. Leo Donofrio should stick to playing poker, a pastime he's had far more success at than arguing Constitutional Law.

Rubio is eligible to be a US Senator. He is not eligible to be President or vice-President.

Leo Donofrio is a lawyer. Are you?

But obama qualifies, so now Rubio does too. You can’t have a law that applies only to republicans. It either applies to all or to none, and since the law has gone by the wayside because our representatives choose to ignore it, Rubio can now run if he ever chooses to.

Leo has never won a case. Has he even argued a case? No, I'm not a lawyer. Unlike Leo Donofrio, I have a job I'm actually successful at.

Tell me this. If you absolutely needed a lawyer to get you out of a tight spot, would you call Leo Donofrio? Didn't think so.
