I’ll have to go read the comments. Got really busy today and couldn’t follow it.
I didn’t realize there is a work requirement. So did you see a lot of phony baloney when you worked there? Seems to me there are plenty of them working the system to the max.
Just got an O’Keefe tweet that Ohio medicaid employees put on administrative leave. Shoulda been fired imo.
You don’t know the HALF of it! One of the reasons why I quit. And it wasn’t easy either. A steady job with pretty good benefits and two children to support on my own. I had just moved out of the inner city 4 years before that b/c I wanted a better life/school district for my children.
I saw so much fraud! City police officers with their breeding cow on welfare, Section 8, WIC, foodstamps, HEAP, etc. etc. claiming that they were the “landlord” of their breeding cow. Funny thing was the kids had the same last name and some were even a “Jr.” i.e. Jose Perez Jr. when the “landlord” was Jose Perez, city cop. (ficticious name for obvious reasons)
Said “landlord” had purchased the house for himself and his family to live in obviously even though he claimed to be living with HIS mother (how nice).
The response of the bureaucrats? “We don’t get admin fees for cutting people off the program; turn your head and keep those checks rolling.”
After I left, they “blackballed” me from getting employed again for the next two years. I had to hire an agency to find out what was going on. Totally took a dive financially and had to drastically change my career!
