So how many civilian passengers’ lives were put in peril because of this stunt?

If this were a just and sensible war, then this would be a legitimate target.

But neither is the case.

This infuriates me!!!!! Supposedly we are NOT at war with Libya, yet we are bombing the shiit our of them and not a peep!!! We ARE at war in Afghanistan and bombings are frowned upon even if it means helping OUR troops.

Libyan street side falafel cart bombed after two Libyan army privates seen buying lunch there. “It wasn’t merely a civilian lunch cart. It was also an integral part of Libya’s military logistics system.”

There is not a world of difference between military and civilian air search radars. In the U.S. ARSR-4 (”Air Route Surveillance Radar - Four”) is jointly operated by the Air Force and FAA. ARSR-4 are used to keep track of the airspace near the U.S. borders.

ASR-9, the most common airport surveillance radar in the U.S. is very similar in waveform, size, power and function as the SPS-49, the most common radar used by the Navy for long range air detection. The ‘49 has ECCM features and a tad more power, but otherwise they are quite similar.

This radar will eventually cost US Taxpayers $1 billion, as you KNOW that billions will given to these “rebels” if/when they take over.

$500 million for a new radar

$500 million in kick-backs and political contributions to build it.

Next step for NATO is to cut off all supply chains to the citizens of Tripoli, like they did in Bosnia when they blew up the bridges.

Because we're there to “help” them, of course.

UsaToday...

On March 18, President Obama told congressional leaders that the “kinetic activity” (fighting) we were getting into in Libya would be a matter of “days, not weeks.” He used the same “days and not weeks” phrase in a news conference on March 22.

In the Kosovo war, we went after civil infrastructure. Dams, water works, and especially electrical substations with conductive fiber BLU-114/B submunitions. We also rendered airports useless by destroying radar and other critical items.

Hmm, I see a pattern developing here.

“Blew up the bridges” Clinton put a smart bomb into the side of a Commuter Rail Train. You could see a guy sitting next to a window reading a newspaper just before it hit.
