McConnells plan is not a plan, it gives Zero the blame, but does NOTHING to start cutting.

If the GOP is serious about cutting in the future, why are they not fighting for spending cuts now?

It’s just another snake-oil deal, like the continuing resolution deal.

I can’t believe that anyone will fall for a GOP congressional bill that ‘gives Obama the blame’ for doing what they’ve given him approval to do.

The McConnell plan is a disaster in reality AND appearance.

Since we are so close to the election, I'm wondering if it's not more strategic to let the POS have his way. Things will only continue to get worse whether we raise the limit or not. Why not totally let him take the blame, thus insuring a Republican win in 2012 at which point we can seriously begin to fix it.

I have no good plan from McConnell. And McLame offered no reason to hope for anything good form the Senate. I am not comfortable that the House will continue to stand once they run this up the flagpole and salute.... I fear they will be scattered like sheep without a shepherd.I agree with those who say the fix is in. And I agree with those Christians who have said for some time now that God has lifted the protective hand from these United States -left us to our own evil devices for we have not merely forgotten God (as Lincoln suggested) but too many have utterly rejected God -and bow before that golden calf called “inclusion” and “political correctness” and “situation ethics’ The Playboy philosophy has usurped the fundamental principels of Religion ,Morality, and Knowledge”
