Well, it’s being admitted that he had 2 passports. And that he was just a hiker or backpacker & that his 2 friends left the country quickly.

Well, I assume it’s not unusual for an Israeli to have 2 passports, as there are quite a few folks who hold citizenship there and, say, in the US.

Maybe one hiker/climber had the papers for all of them in one watertight container. Just possible. No reason to think the media could or would care to report all the facts.
Please, have a look at the video in the link. The NZ PM denies the story but the journalists who have no facts what so ever just cannot take a no for an answer. What ever did we do to deserve a media like the one we have today?

I am the deep undercover Mossad agent who heads up that NZ spy ring. Unfortunately, I have lost both the account number and password to my Zurich account and can recover neither my spare passports nor the large stacks of money in various hard currencies, let alone my spare Glock .45 (I do have my BIC ballpoint as protection against crazed assassin co-workers). As a result, I have yet to visit New Zealand. (although I have seen the LOTR movies... just to learn “the lay of the land...”)
I had all that information stored in the tiny, laser equipped memory device surgically inserted in my back. Unfortunately, while applying sunscreen to my back while we were at the beach last year, my wife thought that the memory pill was a blackhead. When she tried to squeeze it, it popped out and was washed away in the surf.
I wonder if Bond had days like this?
