No, my point was if you’ve got 1/2 million living in the bay area alone, then it doesn’t make sense that there’s only another 11 1/2 million in the rest of CA and the other 49 (or, would it be 56) states?

California's budget deficit is $28 billion yet the state spends $21.8 billion subsidizing illegal immigration, or 75 percent of their TOTAL deficit!
Massachusetts could almost clear its books by ending illegal alien subsidies; the state's deficit is $2 billion, while their annual cost of illegal immigration is $1.86 billion. Maryland and New York would enjoy much needed surplusses; those state's expenditures on illegal aliens actually exceed their deficits!
