LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Opening statements have wrapped up in the Abdulhakim Muhammad murder trial. The state is set to begin calling witnesses after a 15 minute break.
The judge, prosecutors and defense attorneys for Abdulhakim Muhammad questioned more than four dozen potential jurors Monday and Tuesday before they found 12 jurors and two alternates.
Muhammad has confessed to killing 23-year-old Army Pvt. William Andrew Long and wounding Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula in Little Rock in 2009. He says the shootings were in retaliation for U.S. military action in the Middle East.
If he's convicted of capital murder, Muhammad could face the death penalty. Potential jurors who said they were opposed to capital punishment were dismissed.

Well, we’ll not be deluded into not killing the Islamic b*stard.
In fact, perhaps we should look into revival techniques so that we can kill him multiple times.
Yeah...that’s the ticket.
The war is coming...it’s now, or it’ll be later...but it’ll be there.
“UPDATE: Defense says Muhammad suffered ‘delusions’”
What’s new about that? We already knew he’s Muslim.
For all you Casey Anthony haters out there, here’s a guy you can actually HATE. There is ********ABSOLUTLEY NO DOUBT******** that this guy is GUILTY. We know how all the victims died. We know what the murder weapon(s) was. We know the motive (Islam). We know the location of the crime.
It’s just too bad the cops didn’t kill this guy. We have to waste our time & money on this guy who should already be dead. I can wait for justice to be done.
If Islam was software, this would be called a "feature".
