Thanks Marstegreg, you’re right about putting law abiding CITIZENS first!

Thank goodness the voters of NM screwed their heads on correctly and elected the Republican District Attorney of Las Cruces as our Governor. She is so far kicking a** and taking names! The Dems are fighting her every inch of the way but I’m hoping when some of these legislators have to run for re-election that voters realize she needs some strong Repubs to help get her agenda through.

No problem. I have an 11 year old and a 13 year old. Catholic school doesn’t come cheap but there is no way I trust the public shools to mentor my chilren. High school is right around the corner (we are hoping for some scholarships) and i can’t even think about the cost of college yet. If I was in a state that offered free college tuition and then I found out I was at the bottom of the list because I was a law abiding citizen I would be mad as heck. I admire your restraint I would not be nearly as gracious! ;)

As I said it is a step in the right direction.

I didn’t say that it would eliminate the problem.

The Governor already tried to do away completely with the program givign licenses to illegals, but the Democrat Legislature blocked it.

But at least this might get through the democrat Legislature, and, AS A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, eliminate the thousands of illegal aliens, including OTMs, that live in other states that Bill Richardson was more than happy to give licenses to.
