Protesters warn community of unsanitary Allentown abortion facility

ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania, July 21, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A group of pro-life activists joined together last Saturday morning to warn the public and women entering the Allentown Medical Services abortion clinic of the dangerous conditions found there during recent state inspections.

Pennsylvania health officials inspecting the facility in May discovered a blood-smeared freezer with a “thick” pool of frozen blood at the bottom, medicine expired by several years, and “sterile” instruments in dirty drawers and packages with brown stains inside, according to their report. Employees at the clinic confirmed that the instruments were considered patient-ready.

While no plan has been put on file to correct the violations, the abortion clinic continues to operate.

The protesters came from all over Pennsylvania to protest at the clinic once owned by abortionist Steven Chase Brigham, who has such an appalling history of botched abortions and other abuses that officials ordered him not to have any involvement, direct or indirect, with any abortion business in that state, Operation Rescue reports.

Brigham transferred control of the facility to Rose Health Services, a company purportedly owned by his mother. Brigham continues to solicit abortion business for the Allentown clinic through his American Medical Services web site.

Video taken at the protest showed a maintenance worker at the building where the abortion clinic operates thanking the protesters for exposing the dangers there.

“Unacceptable risk to women at this abortion facility,” stated one sign carried by the pro-life activists.

Operation Rescue President Troy Newman thanked pro-life activist Kathy Kuhns for organizing the protest. “We must keep up the public opposition and pressure on the Pennsylvania Department of Health until this dirty and dangerous abortion mill is closed for good,” said Newman.

“Unacceptable risk to women at this abortion facility,” stated one sign carried by the pro-life activists.

To say nothing of the risk to the babies . . . Unfortunately many woman are so eager to abort that they are willing to put their own lives at risk in these worse-than-back-alley-facilities.

It's a callous disregard for the welfare of the very women that the pro-abortion crowd claims to desire to aid.

Imho, their motives are not what they claim.

Money. It costs more to clean up than to be dirty, so there's less profit per abortion. Cleaning up would raise the price per abortion, resulting in fewer abortions and less profit ... also fewer deaths ... and simply killing is also a motive.
