Why does he use the Muslim term here I wonder:
“I am first generation dhimmi”...
Wouldn’t that be a strange thing to say if you were anti-Muslim?
Is he being ironic?
From Wikipedia:
“the people of the dhimma (or people of the contract”) is a non-Muslim subject of a state governed in accordance with sharia law.”
I found it strange at least.
But it’s hard to say how he meant it. Irony, bitterness...? Speaking of his past experience or what he expects for the future? Hard to tell with just the written word. He is no friend of islam at least.
